Rear Blade What size rear blade for my John Deere 1026?

Tilt is primarily used for ditch work. I personally would not pay $200 more for tilt on that size blade but that is up to you. If you want tilt you may want to get a price on a Woods RB60, they are $600-650 around here. Like Dave said you can adjust your sidelink if your blade does not have tilt. Another thing to take into consideration is will your tractor pick up a blade high enough to tilt it.

That's the one thing that wasn't brought up on this thread. He has a subcompact, just like I do, and I'm skeptical about a blade with tilt.

I was looking at the blade that EA showed on here, beautiful blade, just didn't appear that it would work on a subcompact.

I can tilt my blade . I can't remember how much clearance it had, I think it was 2 or 3 inches. It is hard to tell by the picture.

How high are the lift arms on your 1026 in the fully raised position to the center of the ball?

I will prolly just go with the straight blade and not the tilt, I won't be cutting any ditches. I doubt if I will be using the blade that much either, just grading my driveway and what little snow we get. I wish I could find a good used one, but everyone I have seen is beat up.

You could do like me and wait for a blade to pop up on craigslist.
