looking for a 3 pt hitch backhoe
Hi all.....
Have a Ford 3000 with loader and am looking for a 3 pt hitch backhoe.
I have been told that it's much better having a frame..... that it decreases the chances that you might break something on your tractor.
Thanks for your thoughts.....

Re: looking for a 3 pt hitch backhoe
I had a Woods 3 pt. and had no problems at all. Never broke anything on the tractor (or hoe) and as I see it, a sub frame is a big pita to remove and re install your 3pt. parts. Maybe the concern is in a tractor that is not that well built. Mine was years ago on a Yanmar 336D. I''m sure that your Ford is plenty "stout" as well. No matter what equipment you have you still need to use your best "attachment", that is your head to avoid damage & injuries.

We have a 3pt on our Farm Trac . Although a bit under powered, I have no complaints and we have used it pretty hard. It has a bracket on each side that attaches to the trumpets to fix the toplink
