Got the new tiller on and thanks to all who gave me info
-----Finally bought a new 4' Land Pride tiller from local dealer. They installed it and i was tilling the same day. Until-----i hit a couple of small rocks and broke the shear pin.
I had asked the service guy if it came with a slip clutch and he said it did not. After it broke, i got to thinking about what i read on their web site on the RT12 series----they come with the slip clutch!
And the manual said it came as standard. Quick call to the dealer and they said NO----and i said OH YES--- (i had called Land Pride already and got a name)
Well, after 20 minutes--- he called back and said they had grabbed the wrong one!
Now----the new shaft is on and working good. Now i need to get a disc and make a hiller Thanks to all and especially to wcambell47 in bay city,tx

I always like it when the dealer swears up and down they're right until you show them they aren't.
