Old plow - new tractor. Never used a plow, can I make it work?

These old implements have some value, especially to someone owning an antique tractor matched to that plow.

If it were me, I would try Craigslist and offer to trade for a a single bottom 3 pt hitch plow of a two bottom 12" plow to match your tractor. An antique tractor buff may be willing to trade with you. I agree, all means dont scrap that plow!

If you could find parts I would say use it. It seems like most would try to get a 3 pt 1or2 bottom but I know of a few people my BIL included who swear by the old pull type plows. There is a Plow Match held next town over every spring and you dont see any 3 pt plows but boy to you see pleanty of pull types. Fix it if you can and use it or find a buyer. What else was in the spoils? anything decent or interesting?

I also have a very old 2 person sleigh in the barn. It's in rough shape but looks to be restore-able. I think it has the original bells on it. Also an engine stand, 4 goodyear all season tires, an aluminum pickup truck cap, a 250 gal plastic water tank with cage, some rough cut lumber and I haven't even looked in the attic in the barn yet. Hoping to find a big sack of cash or jar of gold. I'll let you know when I find it..... from hawaii.

Well... I looked up in the barn attic today. No bag of cash and no jar of gold. A bunch of insulation and cat poop. You think I can sell the cat poop for "prized organic garden fertilizer" and get rich?
