You shouldn't have a problem pulling that disc. What I would question is the width is that really 7'?

I don't think you'll have a problem pulling it. It is similar to our 20 disc Xtreme angle iron disc harrow which is 73" but the spacing on the harrow on CL could be wider to extend it to around 7'. Our harrow has sealed roller bearings, 18" notched discs all around, clevis hitch and a heavier design but that one isn't bad for a garden. Considering your rocky soil and tractor size, I think you'd be happier with the results of a heavier box frame harrow if your budget allows. All of our harrows ship free to a business or freight terminal within 1,000 miles of Newton, NC.

That disc should work fine behind your tractor. The blades look good and not that worn.

Unless you pile some cinder blocks or other weight on it there will not be a great deal of penetration. The ground is going to have to be soft, or at least damp, to get it to turn over. If there is a lot of grass or the land hasn't been worked in a while it may take several passes to get where you want.

Despite the "heavy duty" designation in the listing, it is really a light weight disc. The extra width, including an extra blade on each gang, will cause it to "float" a bit more. The one from EA looks to be heavier and better built (for about twice the price new).

The price is a bit high from what I see in the CL ad. I sold an almost identical one, but narrower (6') and with four blades per gang, for $350.

Could be 6.5 feet, seems like that size is more common than 7. I just want to use it to disc my garden, which I plow and then last year just broke up by hand. What a workout! I could always add weight if I still needed it, that's no biggie. EA, I actually wanted to order those newish CUT pallet forks you guys have but unfortunately, I am outside of 1,000 miles in Joplin, MO.

That price for a 6' disc would be incredible around here. I've been searching since last fall and this is the best deal I've found (and about the only disc that wasn't falling apart from rust).

I also think the price is high. Also if I'am looking at pic's correctly the DH looks fixed in other words you can't adjust angle of gangs. What is the measure of the frame (square tubing). ? If it were me I would not pay over $400 for it. Just my :2cents:.

A 7 ft would have 14 blades across the front and back, price is too high and built too light, not adjustable and no scrappers. Ken Sweet

According to Google maps, you're inside the zone if you're in Joplin. About everything on our site will ship free to a business in Joplin or to the YRC freight terminal located at 2600 Powell Rd in Baxter Springs, KS 66713.
Even if you're outside of our zone, don't hesitate to call if you're interested in something. We ship to the west coast usually on a daily basis and the freight rates will probably surprise you!!

Thank you for this info! Baxter Springs is on my way to work, I didn't realize it was inside the free shipping zone. By the map on your site I thought Joplin was narrowly excluded.
