I am in the market for a tiller for my Kubota B7510 and was looking for suggestions and or advice. I was hoping someone has the same tractor and can give some first hand experience on a tiller that has worked well for them. I was looking at the KK XB series as well as a Phoenix tiller. Thanks in advance.

is your tractor a 25hp tractor in my youth i ran a 21hp case ih i pulled a 5 foot till with no problems i would say a 5 footer would be easier on the tractor then say a 6 footer that tiller was a TSC brand that was back in 1989-90

Sorry, forgot to include the HP. It is a 21 hp (17hp PTO)compact tractor. It is on the smaller size of the compact line that is why the KK XB series looked interesting.

I used a Yanmar RS1200 tiller (48" wide) on my B7510HST. Bought it for $300 from the local grey market tractor dealer. Tiller worked fine.

I had to use the 35" long lower lift arms from my Massey Ferguson 135 to move the tiller rearwards enough to get a slip clutch onto the pto driveline.

Also found the hitting the soil with a middle buster plow before tilling made the job a lot easier in hard packed soil.

Good luck.

I don't think you can go wrong with either the King Kutter XB tiller or the Phoenix tiller on your tractor. The Phoenix has C shaped tines which are known to dig more aggressively in compacted soil.

I have a 7510 and use a Woods GTC-52 Tiller. (52 inches wide) Reverse tine. I have no trouble with having enough power.

That is good to know. My tractor has the rear wheels set at 54" so the King Kutter XB 54 would cover the tracks perfectly. Does anyone have any experience with the XB tillers? The Phoenix 52" is also another option and can be offset to cover the tracks. Surprisingly, the XB series weighs more than the Phoenix. Anymore info out there?:)

The only other info that I can give you is. The Phoenix is made by Sicma, and so is the Bush Hog tiller that I have. Mine works fantastic. And if you watched Ted's video about the Sicma Tillers, he was telling the truth about the tines. I've compared my tilling ability to my BIL's KK tiller, and Mine will till the ground faster, and deeper than his.
