Quick Attach Conversion Kit.... Need a little help

Thanks Xfaxman, but I was referring to the spring that is holding the handle down, not the one attached to the pin that secures the implement. I have not fit it to an implement yet to check the fit there.

You don't need much spring tension on the handle. What keeps it down is the compression on the lower spring when it hits the attachment plate, and the handle keeps moving until it hits the stop, (usually adjustable) just over center. That lower spring is holding the pin tight against the QA plate.
The distance the pin goes down varies on different plates, depending on wear in the slot.
To raise the handle, you have to compress the lower spring a little as the linkage comes back over center and pulls the pin up to unlatch the attachment.

Compare this handle to yours, notice how it has been ground off to provide the over center stop when it is fully down as in their picture.

Thanks for the info, especially the part about the ground handle - I had not seen that before. I will keep that in mind when placing the stop on mine since I am not putting on ears there.

The total width is 49" and each of the plates are 7" wide and 22" tall. These plates will be wider on future editions when we run this in full production in 60-90 days.

We recently received new stock of the Quick Tach Assembly. The plates are now 12" x 22", and are painted red. Don't hesitate to let us know if you would like one, as they're moving quickly.

Don't be so quick to assume, according to SkidsteerExpress/Palletfork.com most of there items are made in Memphis, TN. Now could this one be from somewhere else I don't know, but you could ask them if you really wanted to know.
