Raised beds promote better plant growth and more even water. Also helps certain crops by cutting down on soil / foliage contact. Helps with disease. Plus two row makes field neat and easier to work.

i guess if i did alot of measuring the distance between the row's it would work for hilling my potatoes.

Looks like you'd need fresh tilled, level soil for that to work evenly.
Looks like a lot of tweaking to get everything to set just so, too.
Someone put a lot of effort into making it.
Is it a short line product or a one-off DIY job?
Hitch it up, take a few passes, take a few pictures, and show us what it can do!

The moldboards are curved and tapered as they lead to the back. and there are spring loaded extensions at the end of the outside moldboards. These characteristics make me think short line instead of diy? Ken Sweet

I have buyers outside my home area that find equipment and email me pictures and prices or I make a delivered bid based on the pictures and descriptions of the equipment. This is one of those type items that was in a consignment sale in Eastern Ky. Ken Sweet

I would say that hiller would only be used on sandy land.
