These guys have a "extra" valve on their machine's to control cylinders on attachments. It's called a "remote" or "SCV"
Thanks.
Re: Can I use my rear remote to operate a grapple?
I have a JD 3320 with Rear Remotes that are actuated by the SCV.....and I have a JD hardlines kit to run fluid to the front of my loader - where I have my couplers AND a grapple. This combination works S L I C K. I have never wanted for more convenience. Why spend more?
OH.....and I have 1/4" couplers and hoses at the front. Just right. :)
Re: Can I use my rear remote to operate a grapple?
I plug my grapple into the rear remotes and (using the control in my cab) it works fine.
Re: Can I use my rear remote to operate a grapple?
I had an extra SCV added to my rear (one came standard) and had that hooked up to the third function piping which was the same size as the bucket tilt tubes and hoses. I would have to unplug it if I ever needed two functions at the rear but that takes just a minute. Right now I'm using the third function as the power angle for a eight foot Fisher plow. If anything I have too much flow for those plow pistons and it will snap it around with a bang if I more then crack the control lever next to the seat.

See my signature, a 48" WildKat double cylinder.

Get yourself a flow restrictor and that super quick hydraulic movement will get slowed down to a nice manageable adjustment. ;)

It's on my to do list but not at the top just yet. I know how to crack a valve and do things easy so it isn't a pressing need.
Re: Can I use my rear remote to operate a grapple?
Thanks to all who've replied. I''ve purchased the grapple and required hoses. Works like a charm as long as I remember to put the rear remote back in neutral after opening or closing.
