Found a 60" toothbar off Craigslist today! The previous owner never put it on his tractor (a Kioti ck25).

Congrats! Let me ask how a tooth bar helps....thinking I might want one. Never have been around or seen one in use.
    Thanks

****, I don't know what I'm doing. I know I'm getting brainwashed by all the posters here. Top and tilt on Monday, used pulverisor last week, grapple and forks a month ago, toothbar today. I'm gona stop as soon as I find that rollover box blade, are you listening mountainviewvranch? Lol
Seriously thou, I hear it helps tremendously to penetrate into hard packed earth. I realize that my tractor is not a bulldozer or skid steer.

Huge difference....the bucket will bounce right off stuff that the teeth immediately dig in to. If you're scooping loose stuff it won't matter much, but anything that's remotely compacted will show a huge difference.

I just...last week....put a Piranha tooth bar on my little Yanmar 186D. Used it yesterday.....great for digging and brush removal. Mine was custom made....cost $229 plus $59 shipping. Came from BXpanded in NC. great folks to deal with....Harry...the owner was great. My tractor is a digging machine. Probably will rarely remove the tooth bar. Well made and easy to install. Best attachment I have.
If a man says he’ll fix it, he will. There is no need to remind him every 6 months about it!

    Nice find.
That design might allow you to install it so that the bar will flip back into the bucket when you loosen the mounting bolts.
