hello, how much did you pay for this?

and one more thing, I'm very sure this Maschio tiller are made in China. Last month I visited the exhibition in Nanjing and I talk a lot with Maschio's Chinese factory's sales manager, he told me all of them are sold to oversea. Then I check in the China Custom's data, he said right.

That may be the case with new ones, but this one was made in 2000 and that may not have been the case then. If you compare your picture:

To the one of this tiller:

It looks like they are similar designs, but the gearbox is different (see the large access plate in the back of the gearbox in your picture).
Also, per http://www.maschionet.com/assets/Uploads/W22584004RFrese-fisseLOW-it-en-fr13.pdf the plant in Shandong wasn't opened until 2004, 4 years after this tiller was built.

The two examples are different models of the same brand tiller. The newer one shown is a much heavier duty model with a two-speed gearbox. The rear flaps change with the model and options as well. The old one is still made and looks the same.

Right, I have the model H205 which is rated for 50-60 HP and weight 815 lbs.

The new one in the pic above looks like a model C250, which is rated for a minimum of 80hp and weight 1694 lbs!

Here's a link to the entire model line:

I've got an H205 as well and was pretty sure it weighs more than 815 lbs. Is that for the 6 ft model?

No, that's the 7' modem (H205). It might weigh more than that, but that's what the specs say on the website I linked to. I agree that it feels and looks to weigh more than that!

No worries.

I think the one I have was made in Italy however.

This pic also shows the weight as being 330 kg, which is 727.5246 lbs. Go figure...
