Land Pride Quick Hitch

It seems okay. Build quality is on-par with the JD unit. Quite frankly I think it is over priced. I was initially very frustrated by the hairpin clips and pins that hold the top hook in place. Just mounting my rear blade would knock the hairpins off. I rotated them vertically but they didn't last more than 15-mins of operation until the bottom one fell out. I replaced them with bolts and has been fine - although now it takes wrenches to remove the top-link, which I currently need to do for my boom pole.

Someone on one of the forums recommended using the hairpins but pushing them on all the way past the detent. Another person mentioned carter rings. Once the weather warms up I will probably replace my bolts with something easier to change.

Try small lynch pins.
