Tiller Can I change double bottom plow to single

If I remove one of the double bottom plows to make a single bottom plow will it still track? AND, WHICH ONE SHOULD i REMOVE, the one on the left or right? Thanks for any help with this.

I pull mine like this. Remove the plow that is further to the rear.

Years ago (a lotof years) my dad removed the one towards the front and it is still working fine.
