Hi guys thanks to the input from this forum I'm putting my order in for a box blade tomorrow. Just wondering from the pics if you guys can tell me what I'm missing from my 3pt hitch setup other then the centre link to pull the blade?

You will need a top link and make sure your leveling box is working smoothly.

Get an adjustable top link and a set of stabilizer bars and you'll be good to go. And don't forget to buy plenty of lynch pins too.

Don't you need to weld on a new set of ball ends?.. I cat't quite tell for sure, but aren't they pretty worn out?

What makes you say that James?

Ok, so 7/16" lynch pins, adjustable top link, and stabilizer bars. The ball ends may be a little worn but i think they will do, the drawbar I have in there now was not to sloppy. So I do need sabilizer bars for the box scraper? what do they look like? I know i need to replace one pin for them from under the axle.

Any pictures of one all set up would be great, or at least some pictures of the stabilizer bars.

Thanks

They mount on the pins you have on your axle and go to link arms. TSC sells them. 30" or so for yours..

When you install the top link you will need to remove the flexible joint shown on the tractor pictured above. If you have to buy a new top link it would be best to hook up the boxblade and level it to see how long a top link you need.

Make sure the top link you get is of the correct length range.

I don't think you need anything else to get started. I just have chain tentioners like you have on my MF135 and while the box will move from side to side a bit, it will move dirt just fine. Shot this video the day I brought mine home a few years ago.
