John Deere 5075M, JD RU 2010
I my name is Gaetan and just joined TBN. I have 145 acres of land and like JD products. I rebuilt and upgraded my first JD RU2010 Gasoline 30 years ago and still work with it. It now have electronic ignition and hydraulic outlets!
I have bought two years ago a JD 5075M. I am now looking this year to upgrade my Wood cutting or chipper mainly to have hydraulic feed. Anyone had some experience with the Frontier WC1205? The one I have now is direct drive and the Frontier is belt driven and should spin faster...any risk of having problems with the belts??? I usually run intensively my equipment... is the WC1205 HD rated?
Thanks

At this point I have 3 JD tractors....one small garden tractor 160 (1988) that I still use every week- end during summer at my summer house. A JD 2010 (1964) gasoline that I entirely rebuilt and repainted twice since 1986. I upgraded it with a Allied loader, electronic Ignition, brushless 12v alt. and have installed hydraulic read outlets that I use on my 145 acres tree farm and finally acquired in 2011 a brand new 5075 M with 16/16 sync reverse trans, 553 loader with 73 inches HD bucket, cabin with ac and air seat...a great piece of equipment and have several attachment including backhoe, mowers, wood chipper, scraper and trailer...all fom different manufacturers...none from Frontier yet. This summer I am looking to upgrade my woodchipper and ordered a Cammond HD Box scaper with hydraulic shanks. I just like to work with all those machines, repair and upgrade my stuff!
