I am looking for bar that attaches to the lift arms on the 3point hitch for an international 309A plow. Mine snapped in half and I am fairly sure it isn't available from the oem anymore. So I need to find a used one or try to fabricate a new one.

Come up with anything yet ? I'am guessing you'll fabricate one. Just wondered.

I haven't fixed it yet but have a plow to use till I get it fixed. I'm hoping to get home early today and put it in the barn and see what I come up with. It isn't going to be a fun project but I hope it isn't too terrible.

I've considered welding it back together and adding braces but need to look it over closer first.

Probably could cut it back a little and get some bar stock to bring it back out provided it isn't a cast piece. Could also take some bar stock and plate to fan a new bar. Probably add some gussets at the stress points yo prevent the issue.

That is one of the options I'm considering. Will see after I put it inside and clean it up. I have a friend who may have a piece of steel the size I need so I just need to make time to work on it.

Thanks, you can see their both very similar. I still haven't made it home in time to get the plow in the barn and it has been raining the last three days by the time I do get home so I'm not working outside on it. I'll measure it up and if you can compare it to yours I would appreciate it.

That's a nice looking chicken.:)

There are a couple hundred chickens there. My daughter loves them and my father enjoys them as well so he is constantly buying more when TSC needs to get rid of older chicks. Ava and him collect the eggs every day and anyone who wants to pay for the eggs gives the money to Ava for her bank. She makes out pretty good on that deal, my father buys the chickens, pays to build additional coops, pays for the feed and cleans the coops. Ava helps feed and water and collect eggs but her main chore is just playing with them. She is constantly carrying chickens around the farm. Keeps her happy and the little critters are kind of entertaining.
