I need some rear weight to offset my 10LA loader on my TZ25.

The manual gives several options, this is an overview of those options;

Calcium Chloride filled tires @ 214lbs (107lbs ea wheel) + 475lbs on the 3pt hitch
OR
Rear wheel weights 150lbs (75lbs ea wheel) + 475lbs on the 3pt hitch

The weight I already have is a water - antifreeze mix which should be about 140lbs (70lbs each wheel) and 110lb wheel weights (55lbs ea wheel).

I want more than just a ballast box on the back, a usable hitch similar to or even the Heavy Hitch is what I am leaning towards. The problem with the Heavy Hitch is it is built for 336lbs (8 42lb suitcase weights) which leaves it about 150lbs light on the 3pt hitch and 100lbs light overall when considering my wheel weights.

So what other options are there? Is there another hitch similar to the Heavy Hitch that will take a little more weight?

Here's an idea I would do if I needed rear weight. I've seen people build a ballast box or cut off barrel filled with concrete for rear weight. I would build the equivalent of a heavy duty 3ph frame with forks made of heavy channel and mount a plastic agricultural sprayer tank on the forks and fill it with water. You've got weight, water if needed, and can drain it out and store it light or if you were going to haul it, it would be easy to drain to lose the weight during transport as long as it could be refilled at your destination. You may not like that idea but it's something else to ponder.

I've thought about a sprayer or other attachment but I want something that does not stick to far out the back as I have some tight places to get into.

We do have a universal style weight bracket that will hold up to 1000 pounds depending on the weights used.

Xfaxman, I was wondering if you could direct me to where you can buy that bracket that you use the fitness weights on, or is it custom? I had that idea last week and was getting ready to weld something up, but I'm curious if its for sale somewhere.

The picture came from Omni Mfg several years ago, it fits their Combo Hitch or Transformer Hitch.

If you click the hitch, then click more images, it is there now as a close-up:

Sounds like you have a small light weight tractor?
I would try to keep all extra weight in/on the tires. Extra weight slamming around on your 3point hitch may be a very expensive fix if needed.
Also if you are lifting more weight than the tractor is made for that too can be another very expensive repair. Some of the little tractor front ends arnt that strong.

Would suggest moving up to something that will handle the weight

Thank you got getting back to me. I did search the site before I reached out, but didn't see it for sale any where and didn't know if I was missing something. I will reach out to them tomorrow and see if it's something they actually sell, or was it just a picture showing a possible use. Thanks again
