Bush Hog rear blade 50-07

I need some opinions on this rear blade. I have a kubota 3240 4wd tractor and need a medium duty angle blade. My local dealer has this blade in stock and I will be getting a price on it tomorrow. I have a good heavy duty box blade but need an angle blade too. It will be used for road and ditch maintenance and an absolute heavy duty one is not totally necessary(at least I don't think so). I am looking for opinions and a real world price if possible. The con census seems to be a 7' blade is better for when it is angled hard even for this small of a tractor. The blade is rated for 40 hp on a 4wd tractor and it weights close to 450#. I have owned a light duty blade before

That would be a decent blade for your tractor but for the money you may want to step up to a Woods HBL84-2 or a Monroe Tuffline GB4-84. They are a heavier/ better made blade. A 7' blade would work good on your tractor. I currently have a Woods HBL84-2

Well I went ahead and bought the bush hog blade. I did call and get a price on the woods blade from a different local supplier and it was $400 more. It does weigh around 100 pounds more (the woods) than the bush hog blade I got but I just didn't think I would get $400 more use out of it.

As far as the bush hog blade, it did very well. I didn't fully appreciate the offset feature until I tried it and it was great. I could run down the side of a ditch or road and roll the dirt right out with a small amount of angle. It has enough weight at 450 pounds to do what I need so overall I am quite happy. It cuts beautiful drainage ditches too.

The only pic I have right now is at the dealership but I am going to get one of it on the tractor.
