I have a Cat 1, 3 Pt Hitch, I want to put a ball on a cross member and mount it between the lower arms of the 3PH.
Any have any pics of one they have made?
I will build it, but I am thinking of hitch geometry and such?
Thank you

We make a receiver hitch for pull type trailers and a model that works for pull type and gooseneck trailers. The receiver for pull type trailers is available in a standard and subcompact model. The gooseneck receiver is Category 1 quick hitch compatible. All of our receiver hitches ship free to your home within 1,000 miles of Newton, NC. If you're outside the free zone, just give us a call for a quote.

Here is one that I did as an early welding project. The welding could be a lot better, but it will give an idea of one approach. Note, the weight and pull is on a heavy duty drawbar, so it should hold. My welds are just keeping it upright.

Here's the thread I posted after making mine: My 3 point trailer hitch project

If I were to do it again, I would put the hitch on the inderside, then bolt through the drawbar into a plate on top, which I would weld the vertical part.

You either need to get one like others have posted, or you need an anti-rotation bracket if you only use the lower arms like you are talking about doing

I liked this design so much that I bought one! :)

The top receiver makes it very versatile.
