I'm toying with the idea of getting a wood chipper. I saw that Land Pride has a new chipper out that matches the size and HP of my b2620 Kubota. It's called the WS1503, I think. I was told by my dealer that I could order it and use the Kubota 24 month free finance. So, my question would be, what do people think of this chipper? any one hear anything about it yet? what's the going price on chippers in this range? What I have seen has been around $2500 new, and $2000 slightly used ( if I could even find something like that used around here). And how do people come across all these pieces of used equipment? All I ever find on Craig's list is 40 year old rusted worn out heavy iron.

Skspurling,
Land Pride makes good equipment.... They may not actually make the chipper.... They may OEM it.... I would look at getting a chipper from a company that makes what they sell Salsco, Wallenstien, ect. But if the financing is attractive I would say you you can't go really go wrong with something Land Pride sells. They will back it and sell parts for it.

Regards,
Chris

It is a 3 inch capacity. I was researching competing models in the same price and horse power range, and they are all in the 4 1//2 to 3 inch range, and around $3k MSRP. It dosen't look like any of the competing models, and there isn't a lot of specialized parts in a chipper that would force them to rebrand another product to add it to their catalog. How much stuff that LandPride sells is rebranded?
