Land Pride FDR2560 bogging down!

Of course this is a LP 60" finish mower, pulled behind my Yanmar EX2900. I am having major issues with it bogging down and I cannot seem to keep the deck from clogging. I have brand new blades on it and that did not help. My question is, does the mower bogging down damage the PTO/tractor itself?

Check the belt tension and don't let the grass get so deep between mowings

Sounds like the mower is set too low. Maybe a support arm for one of the wheels has come loose causing the mower to cut to close to the ground. I have had that happen.
