O.K fellas, no forks today. There was a little confusion with the shipping company that Titan actually used. The link they provided was for fe-ex, but it left Titan's load dock via Saia shipping and a Saia tracking no. No big deal, I figured that out after a day or so... And along the forks journey not once was fed-ex involved at any tracking point.

So, according to the tracking no. as of 10 a.m my forks are just 2 hours away now, Apparently they missed the bus today to there final destination.

And to boot, I had them shipped to my deere dealer and swung in to the dealer after work to gather my forks. And was given a why not buy forks from us guilt trip. So I gave them I'm a frugal shopper guilt trip.....

Titan makes pretty good forks I do say. I am not a big fan of some of their other stuff.

Quality of titan forks was the dealers point.... Being jealous that I did not spend money at the Deere dealer, The head nut sales guy was grousing about price vs. quality as much as I was ribbing him for the price of implements with a 'Deere' label they sell.... Competition is what makes Deere so good I says, 'Deere should not rest on it's Loral's and take notice'..... Is what I finished him with

I have yet to hear or read any bad about titan forks. What I have read and heard is all good. Got some reservations on the shipping end, but that is not titans fault. As fast as Titan got the order processed and on the shipping dock on a weekend was impressive..... Carriers and shippers is petty much out of there hands after it leaves there dock.

I went the same route after much comparison shopping. I created a spread sheet to keep up with price and features. I would have liked to have went with the Frontier/JD brand, but wound up saving about 50%. With the savings I went ahead and purchased the bale spear attachment for the fork frame and a three point hitch 2" receiver for moving trailers. I have had mine for a few months now and have had no issue. I sought out reviews on this site and received some negative, but more positive. Some of the comments were handled privately through PM and I respect and appreciate the fact that it was intentionally not turned in to a brand bashing session. In the end what drove my decision was that this is a simple tool with not much that could go wrong, the design after visiting my dealer to compare the Frontier brand was very similiar with little to no differences and then of course the price. I think you will be satisfied.

My thoughts too deere5150. I own a Deere tractor, I was not bashing the green brand just the premium price the dealers seem to need....We go 'round bout prices every time I am in there, sort of a friendly sparing match that just seems to happen since I bought a tractor from them.:D

After all, they are just pallet forks like you say for a loader that has a max lift capacity of 1000 lbs.:D

Got you. I agree 100%. Like to buy green when I can and guess I am still one of those that feels JD is still an American company even if they have overseas plants and use some foreign parts.

Look good to me. I find myself leaving the forks on more than the bucket.

I ordered mine online tonight. I'm getting the Titan 42" forks on a JDQA frame, from palletforks.com. A few minutes after I placed my order, a nice lady called to verify the shipping details. A few minutes after that call, I had an e-mail with a tracking number, and an e-mail saying that my forks had "shipped."

You can't get any quicker service than that!:)

Good deal DennisFolsom

I did use my forks to move the pick-nick table to a different spot in the yard... I have never moved that table with such ease and speed:D

I have not REALLY used the forks yet, such as loading B&B trees or firewood logs but I have absolute faith they will be more than up to task after receiving them and seeing how they are built. The design is built for far more than the JD 300 f.e.l will even lift....
