There seems to be 3-4 kinds of grapples with a single piston coming down on forks. I am going to use it for picking up limbs and brush mainly from cutting trees down. I have a CK 35 Kioti QA and my lift is 1600lbs on a woods loader. Any one got an idea which one might be better?

Lot of good one- I have a Wildkat 48 and I think its super value-Mine is a year old, no issues. Check out Wildkatattachments.com

For my ck35, I purchased the 48" grapple from Titan (palletforks.com). I also purchased a set of the 42" quick attatch forks with it and got a SUBSTANTIAL discount by ordering both. No problems with either so far.

While my 48" Wildkat grapple is twin cylinder, most are are singles. I really like mine.

I have the WildKat 48" and like everything about it. My tractor could handle a larger one but I would not want anything wider than 48" for maneuverability.

Yep really look at the 48" and reasons given by many to not need anything bigger. I have ordered a North American Implements 48" and should be getting it in a week or so. I will try and post some pics and measurements on this unit since there does not seem to be a lot of them out there, at least on TBN.

What did you use for the 3rd function? Was it a kit with lines and did you do the install? How much did you pay for it? So many questions, so little time.

I used a WR Long electric over hydraulic 3rd function. Paid $710 for the unit and installed it for the most part on my own (got a little help from the neighbor who is a better wrench turner than me). The kit comes with everything needed.
