John Deere 2520
I have a JD 2520 with a 3 bag bagger with a blower that runs off the deck. It works pretty well for sucking leaves in the open yard. I also have a hand held blower/vac that works OK as a blower but as a vac, it has several downfalls.
1. You stink like exhaust when you are done and you are breathing dense fumes all the time you are running it.
2. It is cumbersome for getting under bushes and in tight areas.
3. You end up wearing most of the dirt it sucks up.

I was hoping to find a backpack blower/vac. No Luck.

My next hope is to find something that would go on my tractor. I would like it to have a hand held hose that could be used to blow or re-attached to vac. Does anyone know of anything like this?

About your vacuum needs;

You will not find a unit like this unless you import it from Europe.

I will suggest that you invest in the largest Cyclone Rake
and eliminate your problems with vacuuming debris as this will be
the best way to do this.

On the contrary, a PTO powered Trac Vac (like this or this) with a remote kit should fit the bill fairly well for the vacuum side and probbaly the blowing side as well.

I have a Trac Vac 858 which I mainly use for clearing leaves from the ditches along my quarter-mile driveway, using the remote pickup. Works great. I don't have a mower deck (no lawn) but would expect it to work even better in that mode that since the leaves are pre-chopped by the mower blades.
