I have a Bushhog 3545 front end loader that is missing some grease fittings. I can't seem to find anything to tell me if these are threaded or tap-in or what size. Anyone know what size and type to use?

Drive in fittings fit into a plain bore. Threaded grease fittings require that the bushing they screw into have threads as well. The bushings will either have threads or they won't. If the bushings that are lacking zerks have threads, remove one of the remaining zerks, check to see if they match the holes for the missing fittings, and take the zerk to a retailer to match what you need.

You can find parts manuals for your 3045 here: Discontinued model Manuals. There are three of them, in the right hand column at the end of the page. They will give you the Bush Hog parts numbers you need if you want to order them from your dealer. Or you can just have the parts guys look them up for you.

Thank you both for your help. GreenWannabe, your link has some great info/diagrams that I did not have and hadn't been able to find. I found exactly what I needed for the grease fittings, but also now have a great reference for future needs. Thanks a lot!
