Anyone ever seen/built a Category 0 QH that could be picked-up with a Cat 1 QH?

Have a Cat 1 tractor (JD 1026R)... with the iMatch QH. Problem is, have to take the iMatch hitch off every time go to hook-up Cat 0 machinery (having both Cat 1 and Cat 0 machinery). Wishing there was a Cat 0 QH that I could pick-up with a Cat 1 QH! Then, could just leave the Cat 1 QH (in my case, the JD iMatch Cat 1 hitch) on the tractor... and, when going to Cat 0 machinery, just pick-up the Cat 0 hitch, and, then, go get the Cat 0 machinery...

Also, would not have to modify the Cat 0 machinery (which I know some do) so it fits Cat 1... a pain in the neck, and expensive... ... and one could easily use a mix of Cat 0 and Cat 1 machinery... both having their place.

I like your idea, but I have never seen one anywhere.

Buy or build one of these

Category 1 3-Pt. Hitch to 2in. Receiver Adapter | 3-Point Hitch Adapters| Northern Tool + Equipment

Get the HF cat 1 QH on sale, cut it apart, weld the pieces on the above AT CAT-0 SPACING - get some 0-1-2 sleeves for top and draw links (QH's tend to like bigger diameter pins for less slop) - slip a cat1 into a cat 2 sleeve and the whole thing over your cat0 pins, both top and bottoms.

Done right, this would give you cat1 connections on cat 0 spacing, and a sturdy trailer mover in the bargain. Sleeves on each Cat 0 device and you're done.

Or if you REALLY like doing things from scratch, you could make your own QH parts, cam levers, etc, but it would take longer.

Doing it this way, all you'd need for EACH cat 0 implement would be a set of 0-1 and 1-2 sleeves, pretty cheap here

Three Point Hitch Parts

This could work ... seems the only issue would be if the HF Cat 1 hooks might be too big for Cat 0 connectors on the equipment? ... but, this is something that can be checked, researched.

Thanks!

While you can do it with another adaptor that seems like too much linkage imo. I think you would be better served to convert the cat 0 implements to cat 1 qa. This way you wouldn't need to hassel with the second quick hitch transferring between the various cat 0 implements.

With 2 QH's you would be 8" behind the lift arms. Pats easy change maybe a good option for you. Bushing all the Cat 0 to Cat 1 and go. The best thing would be convert the cat 0 implements to cat 1 or get all cat 1 implements.
