Chipper Chinese Chipper Review

And don't forget that many, many chinese are imprisoned in gulags and forced to labor for free (and die for empty ideology). THe large chinese manufacturers also deal with the North Korean gulags where whole families are imprisoned for one member having spoken the obvious truth about the "great leader" whose a legend in only his own mind.

To each their own but I personally cannot see the point of making communist dictators richer.

Sorry about the rant and I'm not trying to put down someone else's choice. But, I am very concerned that the short term low prices being paid for Chinese goods will come back to haunt our sons and daughters and nephews and nieces in the long run.

There is a 2 page list of dealers that may be able to help you at this location: http://www.ctda.net/ DIYGuy got a good price, so I wouldn't assume that all dealers will be able to match it.
I also have one of these chippers and agree that it is very impressive.

I looked on the website and didnt find any reference to your chipper. Is this something you need to ask for over the phone, or order from the manufacturer and have them drop ship it??

Thanks for the pics and any other info.

It is difficult to assess the total socio-economic impact of our most favored trade status with China. I personally think that as they continue to get a taste of participation in the world economy, the political structure might change. We are already seeing privatization of Chinese industry, even with foreign (including US) ownership. It has been a world economy for some time now. MOst americans spend most of their money. If someone buys a chinese product and saves a lot of cash, he will likely spend that cash on other stuff, at least some of which may help the US economy. For example, I sell Chinese built tractors and mostly US built implements and loaders so a sale helps my local economy (yes I spend all my money too!), folks in places like Oklahoma and South Dakota and the places that make the products my customer spends the 5 to 10,000 he saved not buying a more expensive tractor in the first place!

In the long run I don't see doing business with the Chinese as any more damaging to our future than doing buisness with Japan or any other foreign country. To the contrary, as Chinese manufacturing matures and free enterprise grows, quality will continue to imporve, labor will be paid more and MILLIONS OF MILLIONS of people could be added to the consumer base of the world economy....something to think about.

Well, I guess this is more than 2 cents worth, maybe a quarter (or a Yuan!) And I don't know what any of this has to do with tractors and equipment, maybe we need a "politcs" board!

ONe great thing about our country, is we can each have our own opinion, and speak it freely!

Hmmm...it seems to be tricky locating this puppy. Does it have a brand name and model number? So far I haven't found anywhere to buy one. Thanks.

Tony,

As an alternative, Countrywide still has their DR pto chipper on sale for $1799 with free shipping and a 6 month no-questions-asked return policy, as discussed here.

Mechanical feed is standard on theise units,I only get a couple at a time when I have extra room in the container, most sell or go on deposit b4 They arrive,I only stock the Wallenstein BX 6 6" UNIT which is a Canadian made and is a manual l feed, they might offer a feeder option in the future, higher quality than the Chinese units but their also more money

Send tractorloft an email (I believe he also is "shifty" in this thread, but I apologize if mixing alias with wrong dealer). You're looking for the #6 chipper I believe. I live in the west so am not knowledgeable on dealers in your area, but here is a link for the chipper delivered to a major city such as Richmond or Norfolk http://www.tractor-outlet.com/toimplements.html
If anybody in Oregon is looking, I bought mine http://tractorconnection.com/Jinmas.html
There are other good dealers out this way too.
