New Wicked Grapple from EA

I received my Wicked Grapple from EA last Friday. Man what a nice piece of equipment! Welds are nice. Fit and finish is great and it operates flawlessly. It was shipped on time.(They said 2 weeks and it was shipped in 2 weeks) I got to try it out last weekend on my 2320/cx200.

Observations: It works as promised and picked up everything I tried to pick up. Again, this thing is beautiful, so much so that I hated to scratch it!
It seems heavy for my cx200. I had my heavy duty box blade on the rear for ballast and it was fine but I would not attempt to operate this thing without rear ballast. They did everything they could to make it light and it's still heavy. I am very glad I purchased the lightest one out there as if it were any heavier it would be a problem. HAPPY-HAPPY-HAPPY (as some guy with a beard once said)

Yea I know but I was too busy using it to think of taking pics. I will get some this week when I am back at camp. Shipping weight was 415 lbs but the "lightweight" one from palletforks says it's 500 and is only single cyl. It just feels heavy compared to the bucket. Feels like the bucket with a full load of dirt. But grapples in general and for me will never be used to pick up real heavy stuff. It's mostly for brush in my case.

Are you running the 3rd function hydraulic kit from 3rd function auxilliary hydraulic kits for all brands of tractors and loaders! purchase online, free shipping within 1,000 miles!! ?

If so how was the install as far as difficulty? I'm looking at the same grape with this kit and hoping I could install the kit myself.

Machinewars, I picked up the third function from them. Its actually a kit from Long...W R long, i think. The kit was well done. M problems... I have an after market cab on my Kubota. The mounting system they provided was clearly perfect for the tractor without the cab. I had to fabricate a new mount... Pretty easy. After that, the assembly was a piece of cake. The only issue was that one of the fittings on the valve assembly dripped. A 30 degree twist of the fitting and all was good. Works flawlessly so far. I'll be putting a review on here sometime soonish, but want to wait until I'm really familiar with the grapple's ins and outs. I don't have the link, but another user posted a GREAT write up on the install. As far as difficulty, I'd give it a 2 out of 10... Very easy.
