Island, you and I have bumped heads on some things in the past.. but I will give you this.. You know what you are talking about when it comes to grapples and even how to control them for that matter.. I have just started using my wicked grapple single lid, and so far I think it is about perfect for my size of tractor and what i want to do. And I find using the rear remote stick convenient. At least where Kioti put it, Some other place might be a pain, but it is awfully convenient just below the joystick. This thing is fun to work with.

Have we really argued in the past? I thought we agreed on everything, tractor color included.

As I stated in an earlier post, I have a diverter valve on my DK40 but used rear remotes on my CK20. I preferred the rear remotes though I know many people are fascinated by using a button on the joystick rather than moving their hand. I honestly think that most people would choose the rear remote if they could actually try it and spend an hour using it before making the decision. As most CUT owners have never had a chance to use a grapple before they have to make all the purchase decisions however, the default decision often seems to be to add the higher tech diverter or electric over hydraulic. In this instance high tech is not necessary and is more expensive. It works fine either way but with the savings associated with just using the rear remote you can buy an extra implement for either the 3PT or FEL and that extra implement will make a much bigger difference in productivity than any durn button!

That's the way mine is set-up and a fellow poster made a extension for my remote handle now its just under the FEL handle. boda bing- boda boom..

Guys I am loving the heck out of this New Grapple. I picked up a huge rock tonite way up in the woods, that I never could get to stay on the forks, due to its odd unbalanced shape and where it sat, was hard to get the right angle on. I just went up and picked it right up with the grapple. I cleaned up an old blowdown tree up in the woods in a hurry.. This thing is great.

So no more grapple envy? They are handy.

Nope, no more "grapple envy".. I can "grapple" with the world's problems now!:)

Now I have "grapple envy"! :(

Yours is bigger, lighter and more wicked than mine!

We are now offering some of the most common subcompact and small compact pin-on mounts for the 50" single lid grapple.
We would like to limit these to loaders that aren't offered with the universal skid steer quick attach as a factory option.
This should be a HUGE hit for B and BX owners!!! Spread the word!!

That is a big deal. Saves not only the $600+ cost of an adapter but means that the B/BX owner gets to use their standard bucket without need for modifications. Switching implements with standard pin mounts may take ten or fifteen minutes rather than 3-4 minutes but that is a minor, even trivial, issue. I suggest you include a free tapered pin to line up the mounting holes. And, to add frosting to the cake, come up with a simple clip in mount to hold the pin so it is safe and conveniently available whenever an implement switch is made between bucket and grapple.

I don't know why it has taken this long for a manufacturer to see this market niche but I am pretty sure you'll have a big seller.

Which other small CUT mounts will you be offering? Seems a pretty small investment required in this day of CAD and computer controlled steel cutting so you could stay ahead of the completion by offering mounts to fit JD, NH, Kioti, Mahindra, LS. Etc.

I have the EA 60 inch with the K OEM 3rd function valve with rocker on stick. I like the thumb switch okay but do find myself wondering about having more control for certain things using a rear remote lever. Currently it's on or off, with a some residual pressure for a while. I"ve stuck a pressure gauge in the circuit a couple times to watch the pressure in the 3rd function lines. Kind of interesting to watch the pattern

Also if one has a relief valve actuated by the 3rd function or FEL the other won't operate so there are plenty of times when the rocker on the joystick does not give full functionality anyway until the you back off whichever control is causing the relief. In other words it's not like I can fully lift and curl and grab at the same time anyway. Ironically, imo the time when the rocker button is the handiest (over a lever) is when opening the grapple, not closing.

I"ve been disappointed in what rocks my l5460 won't lift, but that is not the grapples fault. But I am glad I didn't buy a smaller FEL than the 1055......

Having said that, I am moving quite a few biggish rocks regularly and am loving doing it without leaving the seat. Have maybe 50 hrs so far using the grapple.

Yeah see I wondered about that, and that figured into my decision to try the rear remote method of control first..To be honest it was mainly the extra cost, as I have about $150 in my hose and connector solution from the rear to the front. But I also like the precise clamping control I have with the lever. I did extend the height of the lever making it easily accessible with my hand still on the joystick control. I find it very convenient to use.
