Kubota L3940
Hey, First time buying Pallet Forks for Kubota L3940. I think I have narrowed it down between two sets. Both 42 inch long but one is rated around 1800 lbs at 240 lbs and the other 3000 lbs and maybe 100 pounds heavier. I'm having hard time finding the FEL lift capcity for my tractor which may help me decide. $100 diffence in cost. Main use will most likely be tree work but who knows I have gotten some cool ideas from pics and jobs from you guys on here. I appeciate your opinions. Thank You.

As long as high quality is present, lighter is better when it comes to loader attachments for compact tractors.

According to Kubota's specs, the LA724 has an 1,865 pound lift cap. at the pivot pins which will decrease forward of the pivot pins.
I think the best choice would be the Everything Attachments Compact Forks(240 pounds/2,000 pound rating) or the Construction Attachments Compact Pallet Forks(220 pounds/1,800 pound rating)
We currently have both models in stock. The CA forks are now available with shaft mounted forks OR with traditional latch type forks.
All of our forks ship free to a business or supporting freight terminal within 1,000 miles of Newton, NC.

Another important question that I see folks here ask is how is your bucket attached? Skidsteer QA or Kubota QA, or other?

There are specs on the loader here: TractorData.com Kubota L3940 tractor attachments information

The number on Kubota loaders is generally the full height lift rating at bucket center. So if you have the LA724 loader, it is rated 724 kilograms or about 1600 lbs. However, note that the break out force is 3403 lbs so you may want to go with higher rated forks.

General rule of thumb for Kubota loaders lift capacity is to take the loader model number x 2. If you have a LA724 your lift cap will be around 1450 lbs give or take. Tractor Data list it (500mm) at 1415 lbs.

I went with Kubota forks on my tractor. They fit perfectly and are rated to handle anything the loader will handle.

I would also consider the 36" Kubota forks - I choose those over the 42"
