Tractor
Ford 1100
Hello All,

Brand new to the blog world, so thanks in advance. Just bought a Ford 1100 4WD yesterday and wanting to mount a front end loader on it but basically this tractor has no frame under it except for some angle iron that sits basically all towards the front of the tractor. There are 4 large threaded bolt holes in the clutch housing casing area on each side of the tractor but I'm not sure if I dare mount the loader uprights to these or not. Don't want to break anything. I have found a few photos but none that really show how the loader is mounted. I am a welder and can fabricate all the brackets but still need something to mount them to. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Again.

Hello & welcome to TBN.

The FEL on my 1100 mount to brackets & braces front, center, and also back to the rear axle. Maybe these photos will give you some ideas.

Let me know if you'd like me to send you a PDF of the Ford 768 FEL owner's manual/installation guide. Wouldn't be until at least Monday, though. I can get you better pictures if that would help.

WOW, Thanks a Million Wyeguy. Those are the best photos I've seen yet. Could I bother you to take a shot of the steel bracing heading back to the rear axle and how it's mounted to the axle? Also, a PDF of the 768 FEL would be amazing and appreciated. I hope maybe in the future that I can help someone out this much.
Thanks Again

drilled and tapped boss/holes inthe bellhousing is a common attachment point for laoders and other equipment for tractors.

Rear brace us bolted to the rear axle bell housing as Sound guy said. Very difficult to get a good pic, but it's shown in the first photo.

The second photo of the middle brace has a bad shadow that make the bolts hard to see.

The third photo shows some of the front brace. Sorry, I'm obviously not a great photographer.

I'll attach the installation manual in the next post. Its a BIG file....

I'll have to try to send the PDF later this evening from home. Its not going to work from my phone.

The forum doesn't allow a file size bigger than 1M. Sorry, I didn't know this. If you want me to send the FEL attachment manual via personal e-mail, send me your e-mail address via personal message. Unless you have another idea...
