Hello I have just purchased a 90 hr (yes 90 hr) cub cadet 2182 in excellent pristine condition and need help finding a front loader for it...Can someone help me with a manufacturer or someone selling a used one of which I can retrofit? I have found a few with approximately 36" of displacement, but too far to warrant travel or freight fees...Kwikway is no option any longer and no luck with a used Johnson; new kits from HF are ridiculously high: $4500+ with no info on what I'm getting and others are sold only for the 5000 series and up...I have found a company who sells plans and although I have the engineering back ground / machinery and skills to do it I lack the time....Has anyone retrofit a #40 or #44 JD front loader attachment (of which are somewhat plentiful used) to the narrow frame Cubs at all with any success? Anyone selling one here?..I believe it would be a relatively straight forward fab in terms of a cross member of some simple design and well engineered mount for the pump...It seems there is so much available for the John Deere and hardly anything for the Smaller Cubs...
Also I am looking for preferably a NOS front hydraulics kit and blade along with any other attachments...I've searched what seems to be the entire web and other IH sights , but the closest I have come to is a NOS kit consisting of: #354 54" blade, #414 hitch, #288 hydro angle kit and #415 valve kit all of which is for the "3000" series so my question pertaining to this is can this be retrofitted to my 2182 narrow frame without much extensive fabrication?
Thank you...
