Bush Hog 7' blade. Looks to be an older version of the 70 Series blade - like this Dirt Dog 7007-70 7Ft. 70 Series Tractor Grader Blade - McGee Farm Equipment, Inc.

I'm going to look at it tomorrow.

I paid 7 and change for one that looks quite similar in construction, but it was new from the dealer.

I thought it was a fair price, considering the cutting blade was not all worn off like most blades I looked at ;-)

I'd offer $200 and keep another C-note in my wallet, just in case.

I would say $500. The last one around here was $800  In about the same condition. I think that they are well over a grand new.

When I asked, he said it didn't have tilt - but it sure looks like it does to me. Maybe he thought I meant the blade tilting? I hope it's in good shape, looks like it may need some new pins to replace the cobbled bolts, but I think I can get it for a pretty good price.

It does all 3 functions. Good that the owner doesn't know this. Easier to get cheap then.

Good luck

Got the blade today for $225. He said it was a Bush Hog brand but it's actually a Tufline GB4-84. Tag is right on it??!! Anyway, so far happy with it. It's beefy for sure. According to their website it comes in at 576# Landscape GB Series Grader Blades - Monroe Tufline I stopped at TSC on the way home and got pin bushings for it so it'd fit the HF QH good and tight. Also got some new pins and clips to replace the bolts he had rigged it with.

It isn't QH compatable obviously. I had to get the angle grinder and BFH out a few minutes but I got it hooked up now. It needs a little TLC and a fresh coat of paint but I am pleased for the price.

It's only a few (maybe 6) inches off the ground when the 3ph is all the way up. Not sure if that's normal or if the blade is "too big" for the tractor, but it'll be fine I think when I get the TnT installed where I can pull the top link in and get it higher during transport.

It looks like a Monroe tufline to me. It has the square tube in the front for he park stand. That blade would be $1200-1300 new.

Here is a tufline I used to have. Mine had the optional screw jack on it.

It is missing a pin out of the rear for the angle. It is missing a pin for the tilt function, it has a bolt instead.

If it was cleaned up and painted and the cutting edge was in good shape and nothing is bent it would be worth $800-900.

Edit I just read your last post. You got a great deal.

Wow, thanks for the pics and info Bullitt. I replaced those pins first thing. I don't like cobble

Yep, it was on CL. I was afraid to mention it earlier because I wanted it  When the guy was loading it up he said he had 4-5 guys wanting to come and get it but I'm pretty sure I was the first one to contact him about it cause the post wasn't but a little bit old when I seen it.

Here's the part I had to trim out to get the QH top hook to fit on the pin.

Here is it on the tractor. It'll look much better when I get a coat of paint on it.

I got a Woods box blade coming this week but I've been reading a lot of people say that you really need both. That you'll likely use the BB a lot more, but there are some things you need a GB for. I was dreading the thought of buying a new one cause I wanted a HD one and they're higher than a cat's back. I was really lucky to have ran across this one when I did, and I just happened to look at CL on a whim because I was bored.
