I pulled the trigger on a 96" with gauge wheels. I look forward to cleaning up some pastures with it.

Will do - I am going to use it to clean up some pastures that have limbs and stuff left over from mulching cedars. I want to get them really clean before I pull my new no-till drill over it.

I also caved to the pressure and ordered a 72" V3 from ETA. After researching various models and tire kicking for a few weeks I finally decided on this one. The design is extra heavy duty and I like the fact that it weighs about 100# more than other mfgs. The gauge wheels will also serve dual purpose as they will easily mount on my box blade to allow it to be used as a grader. I'll be taking delivery on sept.5 per my request and she will be put to immediate use clearing up and smoothing out a few acres we recently dozed. Can't wait till she arrives.

Which box blade are you using? Is it bade for the gauge wheels or are you going to make a mount?

I'm using a Howse BB but the gauge wheels by design should fit just about any model BB without the need to fab anything. All I'm doing is drilling a pair of holes in each side plate of the BB to bolt the gauge wheel tabs to. Then I'll either slot one set of holes for the top link (like ETA did to the rake) or just disconnect the top link all together and drag while controlling height with the lower links.

Freight people called - my rake is at the depot.

Does anybody know if that will fit in the back of a shortbed pick up or do I need to haul a trailer down there?

Hmmm, not sure on that one. I'm planning on going the trailer route. Don't forget about pics. :)

Yeah. Just don't want to haul my 24' GN down there unless I need to do so.
