Straw blowers?

There is a multipurpose chipper/shredder/vacuum/strawshooter at Salsco. They also have dedicated StrawBlowers, but those look pretty hefty and I'm sure they would be pricey.

( I have my blower mounted on a 15' trailer with a receiver mounted on my tractor FEL that I push-pull around. I can through a whole bale in and when the cutters cut the string I can pull them out before they get pulled into the cutter knives. )

Sounds just like the setup I rented from a buddy of mine when I seeded part of my yard the fall before last. It worked great. It works best with at least 3 people. One to drive, one to feed the chopper, and one to man the hose. A fourth is optional to help the person on the trailer (he definitely has the most work to do). Sorry, I can't remember what brand chopper he has.

Agri-metal makes several and even one that is made to fit in back of a pickup truck bed. I just purchased one. The difference between this one and others is you can run it by yourself. Stick one bail in the barrel and the barrel turns on its own feeding the straw. After checking into all the smaller units Agri-metal was the lowest in cost. Mine was 13 1/2 horse power and was still $4000 however.
