Hi Everyone,

Thanks to the first 2 responses. I have deleted the other picture, added my own, and retyped the post. Hope this helps with the ID. Exiled

I have this older JD offset disk that is very heavy duty. All it has for markings is the words "John Deere" on it. No model or serial number plate anywhere. I need to get a set of new bearings for it, so I need to figure out the model number. I have attached 6 actual photos of the disk. The first 3 show it from different vantage points and the last 3 show the bearing housing, which is also the attachment point to the frame. Please double click on the thumbnail photos to enlarge them.

Based on what I have found elsewhere, I think this disk is either a:

1. John Deere Killefer HD offset disk

OR

2. John Deere WH series offset disk

Can anyone help????

Thanks in advance.

A larger picture might help others see more detail.

Not the answer you were looking for, but if you can remove the bearing, take it to a bearing specialty store. They will measure it and order you a exact replacement.

Thanks for the input. I have updated the original post with more photos of the problem disk.

Thanks

There is normally a part number on the bearing itself that a bearing supply house will match up and it will be much cheaper than going to John Deere.

I just bought that exact same disc this past Saturday, a heavy beast indeed. Mine still has the model and serial number tag on it, I will see if I can read it when I get home tonight and post back if I can.
