You can angle it a bit with your 3pt hitch attachments, but I think you may want to look at other attachments for a steep angle.

You wont need to angle it, the tractor will be at the same slope as the bush hog which is level with the ground so in essence it is still level with the ground when you are on a slope.
As Roy says, if slope is very steep at all, I would back up and down it or if you can cross it, just drive across and turn and go back across. You may have to unhook the top link to allow the bush hog to "float " if the ditch bank is very steep or deep.

Yep, and make sure your PTO drive shaft has adequate (but not too much) overlap

I have some pond levies are just too steep to mow on the water side along the slope parallel to the water and I back down using the hydraulic top link to lower the back of the cutter to contour to the drop off.

I've been looking for something similar. This might interest you.

Another option might be the Orsi River Compact boom mower:

Orsi Group

That Orsi boom mounted sicklebar mower looks really neat. IIRC, another TBNer had posted info about the sicklebar mower. Apparently, it only requires about 15 PTO HP to operate. Again, IIRC, the price is about $6500.00.
