Correct, It was the angle I was referring to. I suppose I can live with the anestetics as long as it gets the job done. Still wish it was straight though.

Ted, I appreciate the offer to fix this 100% but theres really no reason to take care of anything. The rake will work just fine the way it is. This is by no means a reflection on the quality of work you do and it isn't worth our time and efforts to pursue. I'm very happy with the rake the way it is and I understand things happen from time to time. You're wanting to take care of this just goes to show what you stand for. I appreciate that. I'm good on this end.

Well I just received a call from ETA about my rake. Ted offered me an exchange because he wanted to make sure I was happy with my purchase. By the time you figure shipping to me, back to him then back to me he probably would have made next to nothing on the sale. This is what I call good old fashioned customer service. I declined his offer because I don't see this minor alignment issue as a real problem. The heavy duty quality of this rake is more than I could ask for. I would purchase one again without a moments thought. The answer to my hard headedness of not wanting to swap the rake was an offered discount toward my next implement purchase. Now I have an excuse to go after that PHD I've been wanting... Umm Needing!
One thing I've learned from all this is that you cant beat a good old fashioned, family owned company that stands behind their products. USA made products and providing homeland jobs is also a plus I consider when shopping. Thanks to ETA for representing all of that..

    Kudos to both sides.

I have three things on order with ETA right now and some more stuff in mind for the future. This thread points out some of the reasons.

My next purchase from ETA is going to be a wicked root grapple, can't wait to strap one on my kubota.

Biggest problem is that you have to decide what size. 50 with single lid is cute light and nimble. Bigger ones hold more.

That rake looks like it would make for a great assemble it yourself kit.

    .

You are not going to believe how good it looks on the front of my tractor and How great it works
when you are busy moving logs. Then we used it as a saw buck and I had to keep moving
the grapple along the log after a couple of cuts. Better than moving it by hand or cant hook
to keep the saw blade out of the dirt.

    You will love it.

I received my Xtreme Duty rake from ETA about a week ago. It sat in the trailer for a few days before I had the chance to pull it out and get it hooked onto the tractor to try it out. I had looked at Landpride and Woods and a few others because I had been thinking about getting a rake for a while - then I saw the Xtreme rake and the videos from the ETA guys and that was what helped me make the decision to go ETA.

My initial need for the rake is to grade out an embankment I need to lay down topsoil and plant grass on - it's steep enough that I wouldn't be able to do it with a 3pt hookup - so I got the 3pt adapter for the Artillian fork frame I had made up earlier this summer - and plan on mounting the rake on the FEL - and using it that way. I got it mounted up and tried it out the other day - and I'm very happy , it seems to work great.

I do have question though - is there a sleeve or something available that I can install to make the rake fit better into the Speeco quick hitch I have? The Speeco typically uses a "pin" that gets installed onto the attachment - the pin is larger than the typical Cat 1 pin - I think it's Cat 2 diameter. The ETA rake fits onto the Speeco hitch - but the pins are loose in the pockets

Hopefully this pic shows what I'm referring to:
