ETA landscape rake is a beast

Many farm equipment supply stores such as TSC, and etc, have cat 1 to cat 2 bushings. That may help you. the outer pin half on the rake is cat 2.
try one end of the QH to see if it fits. Otherwise if not, you will have to have one made or a bushing modified.

I got an email today that my ETA order will ship today including my version 3 landscape rake with a custom added offset.

(And a 60 inch wicked grapple).

I put in three days with my EA landscape rake last weekend. I am severely extremely impressed with how tough the tines are. I was pulling acres of fairly stiff roots, branches and whatnot and the rake held up really well.

I did tweak one tine a little, but if you saw what I did to it and how many times I had branches and roots completely intertwined in the tines you be impressed too I think. That tine is still completely usable but I had bought a couple extra tines to have on hand in case I ever need them. Killer tool, esp with the grapple.

I had previously tore the roots and large scotchbroom etc out of the ground with the scarifiers of my LP hrl3578 which did a great job, esp with the hydraulic scarifier bar. I would drag a huge amount of stuff, and then was able to clear the Box Blade by simply raising the blade and raising the scarifier bar with the hydraulics. Could not have done the work I did without the hydraulic feature of that BB, seriously. Worth every penny.

I did not have call yet to really put to test the new offset capability of my landscape rake although I did play with that feature and it looks like it will be really useful later. I am happy to have that extra feature.

That's me. They are going to build me a custom version 3 rake but with offset. Since it's a custom (although they plan to offer that at some point) I hope there are no first version snafus.

It's not just a simple swap from their angle blade because the version 3 rake has a slotted floating style hitch. I trust them to work the issues out, though.

That's one reason I like working with smaller manufacturers, more flexibility.

Servis used to build what i believe you are referencing - it has the standard rear angle adjustment -AND a forward boom angle adjustment (up to about 40degrees) plus gauge ? wheels that can be adjusted vertically by spinning a screw adjuster... mine is ancient but still gets the job done here's a couple pictures Salaras field -pine needle removal 004.JPG Servis landscape rake 008.JPGthis one was bought new in 1973 and and it does allow the entire rake to be offset. I use it a lot more in the offset mode than directly behind the tractor but don't see new rakes with this feature?? Glad ETA is able to build a rake to suit

Looks like an awesome rake!

Thanks it has had a hard life.
It was used at my spouses fathers landscaping company for over 25 years then sold and used to clear land in Montana for several years , so when I needed one and remembered how heavy duty the old rake was, decided to chase it down and the owner was willing to sell -so I bought it back. Hopefully replace some bushings and a couple tines and give it a new paint job someday -it has earned it!

Checked out the ETA site and their versions look very well built, looks like it would be hard to go wrong with an ETA unit

Still enjoying the one I have. So far I have cleared about 10 acres following dozer work. I did bend a couple of tines which was my fault due to hanging up on a tough root but had I put this amount of torture on my old rake the tines would have looked like the eye brows of a 90 year old man. The EA rake is definitely built to last a lifetime.
