Where would a guy find these things for sale? They don't seem to be just sitting out at my Tractor Supply. I have no idea who manufactured my FEL. It's painted to match the tractor, but it's not JD. So are there just generic wearbars and toothbars available that I can cut the holes to match...?

Thanks, guys.

Yes, Steve, they are available. You might start with Carver Equipment and ssbtractor.com

Do you mean like this one. fits a 54" bucket, and is advertised in the classifieds. This one came from affordable equipment. If I can sell it, I will get a wider one from the same place( new loader is wider than my old one)

If anyone ever finds one of these that is scaled down for a small bucket, let me know. The bucket on my B6100 is only 38" wide. I looked into the ones available from carver and others and they all seem to be made for BIG buckets. They can be cut shorter to fit my bucket but that would leave me with about 4 teeth that stick out 5" in front of my 15" deep bucket. Looking more like pallet forks than bucket teeth.

I'm thinking about making one for myself. Cost of an inexpensive welder and some steel would be about what they want for one of the bolt on ones anyway.

What kind of price do you have on this? How much does it weigh for UPS purposes?

Estif,

I bought my tooth bar from the local Kubota dealer in my area. I was made by Woods so most dealers should be able to get one. Woods makes their bars in four or five standard sizes and then are cut and rewelded to fit differnt buckets. My dealer did this in about 15 min. while I waited. The cost was around $350 for my B21.

I want $200 out of it. and it weighs 55LBS, it is UPS shippable. I priced a 60" tooth bar from affordable equipment at $275 plus freight. When I was looking for my 53" bar he had a 60" and cut it down and rewelded it to my length.
At the time I priced 3 different places and bought the heavyest one, it cost alittle more but I thought it would be worth it. I really think mine are alittle over built, but that's better than too weak.

Try checking local construction equipment places or Bobcat dealers. I bought a used bobcat tooth bar for $175 and it looked new. Heavy duty, eight teeth and bolts into the bucket. My tooth bar was for a 66" bucket but bobcat also makes smaller ones. New bobcat tooth bar for this size was $390.
