This is a simple ballast. Keeps the weight tight to the tractor. Just a 55 gallon drum with top cut off. Put a draw bar through the lower part of the drum. Attached a piece of square stock with one side partially cut out, to slide the toplink in. I had to bend the drum near the rim to keep the toplink from hitting it when fully raised. Then had it filled with concrete.

1 hr of my time for using torches and welder
concrete was free!
Estimated weight 1200 lbs.
It will get painted in the summer.
A smaller version could be made with a smaller drum (I think 35 gallon is the next size smaller).
