Is there any decent reason to get a 3pt quick hitch other than the cheap one from Harbor Freight? I've seen a bit of complaining about, but can't tell if it's just implements that would have issues with any quick hitch, or actual issues that would make it worth thinking about paying a couple hundred more for another brand.

Cheap tools, you get what you pay for. Pat's 'easy change' is available on TBN at discounted price, but NOT discounted quality. Wouldn't getting a TRACTOR be your 1st order of business?:confused3:
Welcome to TBN.

lol, pick up my new Kubota L3200 HST along with a Land Pride blade & 6' rotary cutter in the morning. Just killing time reading & researching all I can for safe proper tractor operation (My first tractor).

Will look at Pat's a bit closer.

Pat's are very popular on T-B-N.

My Kubota B3300SU is near same size as your L3200. I prefer pin adjustable rigid stabilizers over Pat's.

Mine are from Stabilworks and have been excellent. <$200

Use the T-B-N SEARCH function keyword: Stabilworks

( DO NOT LET DEALER SHORTEN ROTARY CUTTER PTO SHAFT UNTIL YOU MAKE A DECISION ON MOUNTING OPTIONS.)

Hard to sleep the night before new tractor delivery, isn't it?

I'm with Jeff. When I had B3030 I was happy with Kubota's adjustable pin 3 point lift arms and a TSC quick hitch. Before that I had a JD 790 with turnbuckles. The Kubota was a big improvement.

I bought the cheap HF QH because I wasn't sure I would like it and didn't want to invest in something I would end up throwing out. After several years now -- it only comes off to put the backhoe on. I love it...and if it breaks I will then look at spending more on a better one ....but it's been several years and still going strong.

I have a qh from northern tools, no complaints. I just bought another one from HF for the other tractor. They only issue with both I believe would be common to ALL qh. You need to spend some time setting your implements so they will fit the qh. Some people complain about everything and you can't satisfy everyone.

I could be wrong but with pats design, it looks like you need to get off the tractor to pin on the top link. Well all implements have a top link so your getting off the tractor twice per implement change over(disconnect than reconnect). With the qh you only get off if there's a PTO shaft.

After watching the 2 guys that knew what they were doing take about 15 minutes to hook up the rotary cutter (granted a large part was the PTO shaft being fiddly & not wanting to click) I know for sure I want some kind of quick hitch back there. I go in on Wednesday for my 2nd spine injection (herniated disk), so I got the tractor to make life easier on my back, not harder (among many other better reasons).

Probably going to go with a HF, maybe Northern Tool or EverythingAttachments.
