    Default bradco 509 lifting capacity

    i have a workmast 55 and a 509 bradco with 18" bucket with hydraulic thumb and can't find what the lift capacity is. had some trouble with large rocks it couldn't lift ???????

    AFAIK Backhoes produce more digging and downpressure forces than lifting. I would guess it is a bit less than the 2754# rated digging force of the main dip cylinder. I know my 485 Bradco won't lift a good many rocks it can drag out of a hole with ease.
