Are equipment auctions a good resource to but attachments like brush hogs, tillers... know of any in SW Washington?
I've been to about a dozen equipment auctions that sold attachments after the equipment was sold. In every case, I've never seen a deal worth buying. I've seen brand new, still strapped to the pallet items sell for more then they do brand new from the dealer, and I've seen beat up stuff sell for almost new prices. It doesn't make any sense to me, but I've been told that some people get into the competition of it and forget that you can look up the price of anything online with your smart phone.
I've found my best deals on Craigslist. You just have to be quick, because you are not the only one looking.
