I just picked up a used 7' 3 PH Mckee snowblower from a guy down the road from me.Although a little bigger than what I was looking for,at 400.00 I couldn't pass it up.I haven't been able to find any imfo on it and was wondering if anyone out there ever used one.

How much power does it take to drive that thing? I'll bet you can hardly wait to try it out.

I'm hoping my 35 hp can handle it.If it dosen't work out I should be able to get my money back at that price.I still have my 42" FM snowblower on my Honda 5518 as a back up.In a deep snow using my Honda can take a couple of hours plus to do my 800ft driveway and around the house.I'm thinking on cutting down the time with the 7' snowblower. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I'm guessing your 35 HP will handle it without problems. I am just coming off of a 25 HP that I had coupled to a 6" KingKutter blower. I have used it for the past 5 years here in Ohio with no ill effects. Just remember which way the wind is blowing and work with it instead of against it. The 1st time I attempted to blow snow into the wind the tractor and I were instantly covered. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I have a similar size Meteor snowblower on a 40 hp New Holland and I run it without ANY problems. Uphill too. Just watch for rocks in the snow. They get caught in the snow and can get in the chain drive for the auger. Breaks the chain. They also dent cars when the blower discharges them. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif Good luck!
