norse 400

HI new to this looking to repair a Norse 400 that i just got in pretty rough shape

any help would be helpful. The main shaft is bent I cant seem to press it? May I have to grind off

the welded on cog ? also the brake stuff is missing . The 400 seems to be an odd ball ??

Do you have the parts breakdown? An outfit in Maine here named Labonville carries all sorts of parts for Norse - someone over your way must also.
I have a 2500 Norse about the same size (?) and replaced the main shaft a few years ago. I remember having to cut the frame apart to get the shaft out, then reweld the frame.
The clutch setup is odd but works and seems to last a long time. Three or four small hardened pins when you pull the rope they straighten up and push on the clutch disk.
Once you know parts price you can see if its worth it to repair the old girl.
