Blade on FEL arms?

I have a Kubota 2360 with the LA243 loader. I want to be able to switch between the bucket and a blade without taking off the whole loader assembly.

Is there a adapter to allow me to do this?

You could attach blade to bucket setup..lot good ideas on TBN.

Manuel or hydraulic plow?

Does your model offer quick release for bucket?

I was at the dealers looking at BX's ,they had a factory blade on the FEL(replaced the bucket) so I am sure they offer it on the B's.Check with your dealer.

I have a 50" blade that can be angled hydraulically. I want to take my bucket off but still use the arms for the blade. I would like to attach the blade onto the arms.

I have lots of length for the hoses to reach from the plow. I don't have a quick release, but with only three pins it is relatively easy to take the bucket off.

I like the idea of a QA but it won't work with the blade I have. On the BX the blade uses a sub-frame system. There is a tongue on the sub-frame that the blade attaches to. That I know of there isn't a way to use a 2760 blade on the QA. Unless there is something I am missing, which is entirely possible.

You have the blade that mounts directly to the front tractor with its own subframe?

I thought you were using a blade that attached to the bucket, like the one from bxpanded

Im sure you could modify it to work with the factory quick attach, if you have the necessary skills. Unless you mount the blade to the loader arms with some sort of quick hitch, I think youre going to be stuck removing the loader to use the blade.

Yea, Scooby I have the BX 2760A. It attaches to the sub frame and has a hydraulic angle system.


I have lots of skills, being a millwright. Any welding is not an issue a good friend is a retired welder,so is a BIL. The hard part is coming up with how to make it all work without having the QA here to see what is needed. Buying the QA is quite an expense to "somehow make it work." If I had a plan I could also get another BIL to make it at his steel shop.

Any ideas would be a big help.

If you have that level of skill..

Consider building a Skid Steer Quick Attach. Are you familiar with the design? Its made to a standard (Some ANSI thing that I cant quote it off the top of my head) so its universal, unlike Kubota's proprietary setup on the BX.

For under $250 in steel and springs you could build one. I intend on building my own in the new year so I can switch between forks, blade and bucket quicker. Its not a real hard build. If you have the skills and tools, Im sure you can whip it up in a day. About the only thing Im missing is the large, heavy die springs for my build. Ill likely buy the Kubota ones because they are readily available, and cheap at $8 ish dollars.

Im basically going to follow this guys lead by using the bucket back for the tractor side connector and make additional connectors for the other attachments. Im also going to bus the traditional levers as opposed to the pins he used. I dont know if he built his to the official SSQA standard, but I intend on doing so. He also shows his blade in this video. I prefer the SSQA style, because it keeps the bucket in as close to the original position as possible as opposed to the factory Kubota BXQA and others of similar design like the Jari.
