They were one I really liked the look of when I was looking to buy. I ended up buying a used RakeMaster brand

Thinking about www.TheRakeShop.com / Root Rakes Grapples Attachments & Skid Steers grapple
Any experiences with this company? They seem to have been around for a while.

It was a toss up between them and EA. But EA is only slightly cheaper, but with a 4 week lead time, it means that I would not get it until the end of the summer.

Don't know what price range you are looking at but with shipping costs to Whidbey Island from Florida or the Carolina's you might check if you would be better off looking closer to home.
Anbo and Bo-dozer are both made in our state thus shipping is much less or nonexistent if you go get it yourself.

I decided against Anbo a while ago. Here is a picture of why

Notice how the hydraulic fittings come off the bottom of the grapple, and hang near the ground.
The most delicate part of the grapple is positioned in a position where it is most likely to get caught on something and rip off.

A guy I met a while ago, when originally looking for tractors pointed this out to me. He used to run a rental yard for construction equipment, and every Anbo grapple they made had to be repaired at least once if not twice a year due to either abrasion or having the hoses getting caught and ripped off.

Both have unusual names with "bo" and both are in Colville, WA. I wonder if there is a connection.

FWIW- I just sent them a nice fat check for a root grapple and a set of pallet forks. I can't attest to anything but the fact that they've been patient and great to work with thus far. My searches came up something like 99% positive. Mr Sam seems to know his biz.
I couldn't swallow the long wait time, either. Sam sez my order will be ready pretty much by the time the check gets there as I understand it. Hopefully the tractor and these goodies will show up about the same time. d:^) Schneeks..

Yes there was. The bo of Anbo (Dale Borgford) was basically bought out many years back and he started a new company which makes the Bodozer grapple. I looked at the Anbo line but felt it was not even close to the Bodozer in what I was looking for.

I can tell you the hoses are protected on the Bodozer grapple.

The following two pictures are in a thread somewhere that i started but can't find so am posting so you can see how the lines are protected.

That bottom thumbnail pic of the grapple makes it look realllly big. Or realllly ambitious. d:^) Schneeks.
