Which One do you want to know about?
If you're outside of our free shipping zone, please don't count us out!!! We are a quick phone call away and would love to assist you.

I surprise people all the time because of our outstanding shipping rates, even to the west coast and Canada.

If you've purchased something outside of our free shipping zone, feel free to share your experiences. Hey, if you've purchased something inside of our free shipping zone, your feedback would also be helpful to everyone! We offer freight terminal pick-up with several major carriers that will load onto your truck/trailer for NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE!! Easy as pie.
We also offer farm/home/home business delivery for an additional fee.

Just a quick post to spread hopefully useful information. Thanks to everyone here at TBN!

So then free shipping is not in fact free shipping? I would have to travel to a terminal to pick up the implement myself? When I buy from someone who advertises free shipping I expect shipping to my home or business. Where are your terminal sites in Wisconsin?

Yes, shipping is free to a commercial business or freight terminal within 1,000 miles of Newton, NC OR $80 to a farm/home business/residence with offloading capabilities.
With your zip code, I can tell you where the closest terminal is to your home. Feel free to give me a call.

EA makes their shipping police very clear....an entire page to explain it. Free shipping, and free delivery aren't exactly the same thing. I think it's reasonable to expect that folks understand shipping a 500lb implement isn't the same thing as ordering a flashlight fom Amazon.

(Temporarily blocked due to reports of company closure) has a huge free shipping zone!!

When I ordered my XTreme Duty 6-way blade Travis sorted through a couple of freight terminals to find the most convenient one for me, and I'm picking it up tomorrow or Friday (weather dependent). Most places list the price, then tack on a huge freight charge that can vary wildly....so their listed price isn't remotely what it will cost to actually get the item in your possession.

You have to keep in mind that it is not EA that charges the extra to your home
or business. Usually it it the freight company that charges the extra to deliver it
to someplace other than a terminal or commercial business with freight handling
abilities. (eg. a dock or forklift. and they charge if they have to use a lift gate
truck)

When I bought our 84" SSQA grapple got free shipping, to the ranch after I told them that I would unload the grapple, on pallet, with our big tractor and SSQA FEL if they would make sure that the rear of the grapple was facing rear of truck. EZPZ took about 5 minutes including paperwork. Don't think a forklift could have done it in twice the time.

I have purchased several implements from EA. All were shipped for free to the closest terminal of my choice. Yes I had to drive one hour each way to pick them up. So what. The quality and price were well worth the trip. You would be doing yourself a favor to do the same. Excuse me for butting in...

On our website SWEETFARMS.COM We offer the entire lower 48 free shipping to a truck terminal or a non farm commercial business near you and for $50 extra we can deliver to the farm. You will notice that our free shipping is divided into 4 zones. By pricing our products this way, we do not over charge customers that are closer to us to compensate for the ones that are farther away. Ken Sweet

It truly is NOT free shipping when this os posted on their site under the "local pickup customers tab"-

Quote....

North Carolina Residents and Local Pick Up Customers:

CALL BEFORE COMING TO PICK UP!! We will give you a price without shipping cost included, as we don't have to ship it to you! This applies to items in stock only.

We must Charge 7% North Carolina Sales Tax on all pick up items.

If you are in North Carolina and would like it shipped to you, add 7% sales tax to the price on the product.

Again, PLEASE CALL FOR PRICING AND STOCK STATUS!!!

End quote....

So yes, you are charged the posted price on the website when your attachments is shipped, but it isn't costing you the same price as if you bought without shipping.

As for the statement vs. Amazon, EA isthe entity calling it free shipping, and not providing it, Amazon DOES NOT add onto a price if you don't live next door.

What EA and Mr. Sweet are actually saying is that the shipping costs are already added to the posted prices.

At least on Kens's site, you can go and look at the pick-up price tab to compare it with shipping to your destination, but with EA, you have to call them as a local pick up customer to find out how much they are charging you for the "free" shipping.

There is a very clear (ok- I'll say it, legal) meaning to the phrase "free shipping", and that is that the price is the same whether you buy it on the premises, or have it shipped somewhere, and that is not the case here.

Last time this came up I got trolled by the true believers who couldn't see the difference, I hope it doesn't happen again...
