I have a land plane I use for our gravel driveways and the parking lots at church. I have never tried it on pure dirt roads. My farm has some areas with a good bit of rutting. How well do these things work if there is no gravel?? I love it on graveled areas. However, the farm is 20 miles away and I don't want to load and haul it if they are not very effective. TIA

If it has rippers that would take care of the ruts

The majority of my use is for smoothing pastures and lawn areas, does a great job.

Go use it, you will not be sorry. Best results if you can get to it when the ground is damp.

That "Alabama Clay" might cut the land-plane in half....:D

Thanks to all. When it dries up a little I am going to load her up and give it a try.
